Why doesn’t DY have an online application for families or personnel?

A telephone interview is an invaluable tool for both for DY and families. It gives DY an opportunity to learn a family’s needs, preferences, concerns and lifestyle. It also gives families an opportunity to get to know DY and become comfortable with how DY works. There is no substitute for actually talking to people to learn the information critical to making appropriate decisions that will produce lasting placements. Rather than rely on an impersonal downloaded application, DY would rather take the time to customize each interview.
